Aishwarya Rai Biography

Aishwarya Roy Bachchan has been an Indian film actress and winner of the 1994 Miss World contest. Her Bollywood career has been brilliant and she is considered one of the popular and high profile celebrities of India.

She has also been awarded many awards. She has also received the Filmfare Award 2 times. She has been honored with the Padma Shri in 2009 by the Government of India and the Audere des Arts et des Lettres in 2012 from the Government of France. She is considered the most beautiful woman in the world.

During college, Roy worked in some modeling assignments. After this she also appeared in several TV commercials. She later participated in the Miss India competition in which she finished second. In 1994, she was crowned Miss World.

After this, she started getting offers for films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film 'Iruvar'. Her first Hindi film was 'Aur Pyar Ho Gaya'. Her first commercial success was Jeans. 

After this, She got massive success when Sanjay Leela Bhansali cast her for the role of Paro in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Devdas'. Her films 'Dhoom 2' and 'Jodha Akbar' did good business in the country and abroad, and in these films, the pair was well received by everyone with their Hrithik Roshan.

During this, there was a lot of discussion with Hrithik about a kissing scene filmed in 'Dhoom 2' and there were reports that Abhishek Bachchan was also annoyed by it. Her performances in the films 'Raincoat' and 'Guzaarish' were also highly praised.

Roy was born in Mangalore, Karnataka. Her father Krishnaraja was a marine biologist. Her mother's name is Brinda who is a homemaker. She also has an elder brother named Aditya Roy and is an engineer in the Merchant Navy. She was also the co-producer of Aishwarya's film 'Dil Ka Rishta'.

Her family later moved to Mumbai where Aishwarya studied at Arya Vidya Mandir High School. She studied class XII from Jai Hind College and then joined DG Ruparel College where she got 90 percent marks in HSC examination.

The film received 10 Filmfare Awards in India, including Aishwarya's Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the second time.

The films 'Dil Ka Rishta' and 'Kuchh Nah Kaho' did not do anything special. At the same time, during the film 'Khaki', a moving vehicle hit her and fractured his leg. A song from the 2005 film 'Bunty Aur Babli', 'Kajra Re Kajra Re' became more popular.

After this, her last film in 2010 was 'Guzaarish', in which she again appeared with Hrithik Roshan. The director of this film was Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Aishwarya Roy first appeared in an advert for Camille Pacinel when she was in ninth grade. She became popular since the advertisement of Pepsi with Aamir Khan. She is the only actress to have endorsed both Pepsi and Coca-Cola.

She is one of the top brand ambassadors in the country and in this case she is one of the highest paid actresses. She has advertised for Titan's watches, L'Oreal, Lakme Cosmetics, Palamolive, Lux, Constellation Diamond Jewelery, Kalyan Jewelers.

In 1999, Aishwarya Roy and Salman started dating each other, but in 2001, the two separated. Aishwarya accuses him that Salman abuses her and even raises his hand. According to him, Salman harassed her in every way. At the same time, in an article in the Times of India, Salman made it clear that he has not raised a hand on any woman till date.
